Need advice from those men and women out there who love to put that surprise smile on their lover's face...

My girlfriend is returning next month after visiting her parents in her hometown. everytime she's away i plan a way to surprise her when she comes back (i mean really surprise). This time i want to think of something new, doesn't have to be over the top, just something that lets her know she was missed every day she's been away. Need some ideas. anyone have an experience or idea they'd like to share? If i use it, i promise i will show her this question online and give credit where credit is due. thanks for any advice.Need advice from those men and women out there who love to put that surprise smile on their lover's face...
What a sweetie you are! Sooooo...is she flying in? or driving? If she's flying in from her hometown, I would make up a neon poster board with big letters that say something to the effect of 'Miss (her name)...you were sooo missed and I'm soooo glad you're back home!' (you know what your thoughts might be...say em!) attach balloons and have roses (or her favorite flowers) ready to hand her. Have someone take your pic together. Then whisk her off to dinner if she's up for it. When you return home...have pages from those small daily calendars (dates from the day she left to the day she returned) spread on the floor in a path to your favorite place in the house...be it the kitchen, den, computer room, bedroom (said nervously)..rose petals are a nice touch too. THEN..wherever you end up...have a chilled bottle of whatever you two like to share...be it beer, soda, sparkling wine, etc. in a little ice bucket and two glasses. Celebrate her return and tell her how much she was missed. I'll leave the rest up to you *wink*. (and no, even if this isn't picked..please don't tell her, ok unless she's not impressed with whatever you do..then you can blame us all...otherwise YOU deserve the credit for surprising her) LOL Not many people I know would be so thoughtful and considerate. She's very lucky to have you...hope she knows you're a keeper! ;) Have fun!!

Hard to suggest when we don't know what your 'other' surprises have been. But they've apparently worked well.Need advice from those men and women out there who love to put that surprise smile on their lover's face...
